AI Assistant Add-on
Use natural language to investigate operations, create supported records, and generate reports
The AI Assistant adds a conversational layer to SettleWise. It can answer questions using organization data, prepare supported actions for confirmation, and route requests to specialized workflows for invoices, payments, credits, reports, payouts, budgets, and inventory.
The assistant uses your SettleWise access. Activating the add-on does not let a user see or change data outside that user's role and organization permissions.
What It Adds
| Capability | Examples |
|---|---|
| Operational questions | Find an invoice, explain a customer balance, review payment status, or locate low-stock items |
| Guided creation | Prepare invoices and cash sales from a natural-language request |
| Investigation | Review unmatched payment evidence and identify likely invoices |
| Credit operations | Explain or guide refunds, rollovers, write-offs, transfers, and credit applications |
| Reports | Summarize sales, collections, forecasts, comparisons, and performance |
| Add-on context | Inspect supported payout, budget, account, and inventory details when those add-ons are active |
How to Use It Safely
- Start with a clear customer, invoice, period, product, inventory, or amount.
- Review the assistant's interpretation and preview.
- Confirm write actions only after checking names, currency, dates, quantities, and destination records.
- Use the linked record as the source of truth after the action completes.
The assistant can reduce navigation and data-entry work, but it does not replace approval controls or accounting review. Always verify consequential actions before confirmation.
Access and Dependencies
- The add-on must be active for the organization.
- Available tools depend on the user's role.
- Questions about Inventory, Payouts, or Accounting require the corresponding add-on to be active.
- Some actions intentionally stop at a preview or investigation result and require a user to continue in the relevant workspace.
Good Prompt Pattern
Include the action, subject, distinguishing details, and desired result:
"Show unresolved inventory alerts for Main Lodge and summarize the three most urgent items."
"Create an invoice preview for MarÃa López with two Premium Licenses due August 15."
