Create Your First Invoice
This guide will walk you through creating and sending your first invoice in SettleWise.

Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- Customer information (name, email)
- Invoice amount and description
- Payment terms (if applicable)
Steps
Navigate to Invoices
Click Invoices in the sidebar, then click Create Invoice.
Select Customer
Search for an existing customer or create a new one.
If creating a new customer, you'll need their name and email address.
Review and Send
Review all details, then click Create and Send. The customer will receive an email with the invoice.
You can also save as draft and send later from the invoice detail page.
Using the AI Assistant
You can also create invoices using natural language:
"Crear una factura para María García por $2,000 por depósito de reserva"
The assistant will guide you through the same process.
What Happens Next
- Invoice is created and assigned a number
- Customer receives email notification
- Invoice appears in your invoices list
- QuickBooks syncs automatically (if connected)
